Welcome back and nice to meet you. We’re less than three weeks away from the first ever women’s Royal Rumble, which will feature a host of names from WWE, NXT and perhaps the past, but it’s not entirely clear how many of each we’ll be seeing. There aren’t enough women on the main roster to fill thirty slots on their own so some extra names will have to be brought in. We now have a better idea of how that’s going to go.

According to the “Wrestling Observer Newsletter”, the current breakdown will consist of nineteen main roster women (assuming Paige is cleared to compete) and nine women from NXT. That would leave two or three names for as potential returns or surprises, one of which may have already been announced.

Here are some people who are likely for the match.

Opinion: I kind of wish they would cut a few of the names from the main roster entrances or even some from NXT. Do we really need Tamina or Dana Brooke in this match too? Or one of the really low NXT women? You kind of knew one of the Bellas would be in the match because of course they would, but I really hope it’s not both of them. Some older names would be nice, or a surprise debut of some sort (though I’m not sure who that could be) but odds are you can guess a lot of the names.
