According to a report from WrestleZone, the Undertaker has been confirmed to be seen in “The Big Apple,” though it is unknown whether he will be participating in tonight’s show.
On a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Brian Alvarez speculated that while “The Deadman” could make an appearance and cost Roman Reigns the Universal Championship, he also could simply be in town to film a video package for the upcoming WWE 2K18 video game.
The Undertaker was last seen on WWE programming at WrestleMania 33. He was defeated in the main event of the show by Reigns, and then proceeded to leave his gear in the ring. This has been interpreted as a sign that this was the final match of his illustrious career.
Editor’s Note:
As I said before, I’ll believe it when I see it. I still don’t think that they will have The Undertaker appear until closer to WrestleMania, but as we all know, the only thing that’s for sure about WWE, is that nothing is for sure!
