Stipulation Set For Smackdown Universal Championship Match

The Tribal Chief speaks. On last night’s edition of Smackdown, WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns issued a challenge to Daniel Bryan and told him that he would get another opportunity at his title. However, there was a stipulation added to the match that would shake up the Blue Brand.

If Daniel Bryan fails to win the championship next week, he will be banned from Smackdown forever.

It had been previously reported that Bryan’s contract is set to expire soon and he is not sure what he wants to do next. In addition, In the same interview, he talked about feeling strange during his Triple Threat match with Reigns and Edge at WrestleMania 37. Bryan referred to the feeling as “very out of body” and even thought it was the feeling that he was about to die.

Editor’s Opinion:

The first thing that I thought when I saw this challenge was that this is the end of Daniel Bryan in WWE for a while. He has had issues with injuries for many years, and I know he wants to spend some more time with his family. Perhaps he could be a producer or do other things with the company in the future, but I have a feeling that this is the way to write him off television.
