This is only a rumor, so take it for what it’s worth. According to prominent belt maker Dan Beltzer, WWE is redesigning their championship belts and will be unveiling them shortly.
Beltzer had the following to say:
New WWE Tag belts are described to me as being the existing design, dual plated, black strap and having a stacked, large WWE logo in the center. They also have the OLD never used tags which are the women’s tag style on colored straps.
Women’s belts getting colored backing soon.

The last major redesign to the WWE Championship belt was on the February 18, 2013, episode of Raw, when The Rock unveiled a new design.
Editor’s Opinion:
Ever since he took over, Triple H has been doing everything that he can to put his stamp on his version of WWE. I think the championship belts still look pretty cool, but who’s to say that a redesign wouldn’t be the additional boost to taking this company to the next level? It would just be another way to signify the power shift that is occurring within the company, and I have no problems with that whatsoever.
