Rumor: The Headbangers Returning to “Smackdown Live”

It was announced this week on “Smackdown Live,” that the brand will be adding an exclusive set of tag team titles to their show. The first champions will crowned at “Backlash” on September 11.

It appears that we might be seeing a team from the past coming back to claim those titles.

According to a report from ProWrestlingSheet.com, the former WWE tag team known as the Headbangers, will be making their return to the company this Tuesday night. It is being rumored that they will face the team of Heath Slater and Rhyno in the first round of the tournament.

Chaz Wellington, also known as “Mosh” of The Headbangers, posted the following on his Facebook account earlier today. The post has since been deleted:

Ever since Tyler was old enough to realize that I wrestle, I’ve had a dream/wish. That dream/wish was to wrestle one more time in a WWE Ring so he could see it.

This dream/wish will cole true this Tuesday night in Dallas, Tx!!! I will be on WWE’s Smackdown Live Show on the USA Network!!

Not only will he see me in ring but he’ll be able to watch it Live on TV!! This is truly a dream come true for me and I’m beyond excited!!!
