RUMOR: John Morrison Hasn’t Signed With WWE?

It had been previously reported that John Morrison has re-signed with WWE after not appearing with the company since 2011. However, in some instances, you can’t always believe what you read.

Over the weekend, Morrison sent out a tweet hinting that he might not have signed with WWE and that the news was fabricated. The tweet reads:

Thanks for the heads up; please lemme know when I’m signed with AEW- or ROH

WWE has not made a statement regarding Morrison and his return to the company.

In this modern age of social media, who actually knows what is going on? He is a smart enough businessman and professional wrestler to troll the fans and not let on what his actual plans are. While I hope that is with WWE, more specifically NXT, whoever he ends up signing with will benefit from his years of expertise and wisdom!
