Even the Tribal Chief can have his moments. In a recent interview with Logan Paul on his show Impaulsive, Roman Reigns spoke about the infamous promo that he had with John Cena in 2017 in which he appeared to forget what he was going to say on television.

You can see the promo in its entirety below:

Below are some highlights from the interview:

On if he blanked in his 2017 promo battle with John Cena: “I believe I did, yeah.”

On if that moment ignited a part of him that made him better: “I think just being in that position and going through that experience made me better. I don’t think it was anything like John specifically because I take from everybody I’ve worked with, everybody I’ve competed with, I always try to take something that I learned from them. It’s like if you’re an offensive coordinator, I’m working under you as a quarterback coach, it’s like, man, that offense was good, I’m going to take everything I like from it, then I’m going to add a little bit to my own playbook.”

Editor’s Opinion:

Even the best make mistakes. It’s crazy to see how far Reigns has become since that moment; he has ascended to heights that only a few thought possible. But we all have humble beginnings!
