Official Smackdown Live Preview – Tuesday, May 16, 2017

 Tonight’s episode of “Smackdown Live” emanates from the SNHU Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire; fresh off of the company’s tour of Europe. Here’s what we can expect for tonight’s show:

No. 1 contenders square off ahead of title matches

AJ Styles will face Jinder Mahal in a battle of the No. 1 contenders. Styles will challenge Kevin Owens for the United States title at “Backlash,” while Mahal will face Randy Orton for the WWE Championship.

Will Rusev get the WWE Title match he’s demanding?

It was previously announced that Rusev will be making his return to “Smackdown Live” tonight, and will address his demands for a WWE Championship match at “Money in the Bank.” Will the “Bulgarian Brute” get what he wants?

Six-Woman Tag Team Match participants make it official

There will be a contract signing between the six participants in the women’s tag match scheduled for “Backlash.” You can imagine how this will go.

The Highlight Reel, hosted by … Kevin Owens?

After Kevin Owens decimated Chris Jericho and reclaimed the United States championship, he attempts to pour salt in the wound by hosting Jericho’s famed talk show, “The Highlight Reel.” Who will his first guest be?

The Viper takes on The Lone Wolf before WWE Backlash

In what should be an outstanding contest, Randy Orton and Baron Corbin will go one-on-one in the main event of the show. I’m very excited about this match!
