Major United States Title Match Announced for “Monday Night Raw”

The odds continue to be stacked against “The Guy.”

It as announced on both WWE’s Twitter account and the WWE App earlier today, that United States Champion Roman Reigns will be defending his title against both Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho in a Handicap match this coming week on “Monday Night Raw.”

This match is another one in the series of contests between the three competitors, with everything culminating at the “Royal Rumble.” At the event, Owens will be defending his Universal Championship against Reigns, with Jericho being locked in a shark tank.

Last week’s episode of “Raw” concluded with Owens coming face-to-face with Goldberg on the debut episode of the “Kevin Owens Show.” As the two men traded verbal insults, Reigns would eventually make his way to the ring to confront Owens, Jericho as well as “The Man.”

Eventually, Braun Strowman would make his way out, but would end up being the victim of a double spear from both Reigns and Goldberg.

Editor’s Note:

This is another filler match leading up to the Universal Title match at the “Royal Rumble.” However, this could be a good way to cause more friction between Jericho and Owens, should jealousy cause one of them to cost the other the US title.
