Could the “man of the hour’s” time have run out?

An article released on WWE.com addresses this, with regards to a tweet that was sent out by Lio Rush earlier this week. Rush, who made his return to NXT this week, was obliterated by Lars Sullivan.

This would cause him to send out the following tweet:

He also commented about the situation in a video, which you can see below:

Lio Rush reevaluates his situation in NXT: NXT Exclusive, Jan. 10, 2018

The “man of the hour” was the subject of a great deal of controversy at the end of October in 2017. It was around this time that Emma was released from the company, and as a response, he said that it was because she was not ready for Asuka, who defeated Emma on “Raw” earlier that week.

It had been previously reported that Rush had left NXT, but this was obviously not the case.

Editor’s Opinion:

My guess is that this is kayfabe, and WWE is capitalizing on the situation this summer to create some buzz. He is still one of the most gifted athletes in all of NXT and I think that he has an incredibly bright future.
