Impact Wrestling is no different.
According to a report from PWInsider, Eli Drake confronted Jeff Jarrett about the new direction that the creative team is taking with the product. The discussion did not get heated, but there is some angst in the locker room regarding recent storylines.
As seen on this week’s show, the company is beginning to take jabs at previous management. The goal of this is to distance themselves from the past, without taking time for an actual reboot. However, Drake told Jarrett that the talent doesn’t feel that is the brass that is being targeted; rather, it is the talent that used to work in the company.
It is being said that there was an initial disconnect between the current talent and the new GFW talent that will be coming into the company. However, as the latest set of TV tapings progressed, certain superstars showed their potential to the new management.
Editor’s Note:
I hope that everything gets worked out and that the company can continue to move forward. I feel that a good boss will allow his/her employees to speak their mind and voice their concerns without any repercussions. Let’s hope that Impact feels the same way.
