It had been previously reported that WWE was recently in talks to bring Hulk Hogan back to the company.

TMZ Sports recently caught up with Hogan’s son, Nick, and asked about a potential return. While he said that the ability to compete was there, it wasn’t that part of it that was holding “The Hulkster” back from a return.

“It’s not the wrestling that’s taxing on him, it’s the traveling,” Nick told TMZ Sports. “He just doesn’t wanna stay on the road all the time.”

Nick also said that his dad was in good enough shape to “beat somebody’s ass.”

As previously stated, the biggest concern is how the potential media backlash would effect the company’s sponsors. Hogan has had several controversial episodes in the past, regarding various racial comments and sexual incidents. This led to his dismissal from the company in July 2015.

Editor’s Opinion:

I said it before, and I’ll say it again: bringing this man back to WWE would be a bad business decision all around. All of the controversy surrounding him has tarnished his legacy and reputation, and the backlash from the public would far outweigh the potential gains.
