Nothing is stronger than family. Tonight on Smackdown, former NJPW superstar Tama Tonga debuted in WWE, joining Solo Sikoa to attack Jimmy Uso and kick him out of The Bloodline.

You can see the debut and attack below:

The segment opened with Paul Heyman stating that Roman Reigns was taking accountability for his loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL. However, as The Wiseman was starting to fire up and say that Reigns was going to take his title back, Sikoa interrupted him and said that wins and losses matter. He then said that people need to be held responsible for their defeats and, along with Tonga, attacked Jimmy Uso.

The son of WWE Hall of Famer Haku, Tonga is most known for his long tenure in NJPW. He is a 7-time IWGP Tag Team champion with Tanga Loa and a 4-time NEVER Openweight champion.

Editor’s Opinion:

I have to be honest, I had no idea who this was until I saw him tonight. However, after reading his resume and checking out some of his stuff on YouTube, I am all about this. Not only will he be a great addition to the roster, but a power struggle between Solo and Reigns has been planted, which will make for some amazing storytelling in the weeks to come.
