At It Again: Injured WWE Superstar Returns To The Ring Following Two Month Absence

Welcome back. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and you never want to see someone put on the shelf. Unfortunately there are only so many ways to avoid injuries, especially if something is a total accident that takes place outside of the ring. That was the case with a WWE Superstar recently but now she has made a surprise return after a few months away.

Piper Niven made a surprise return to the ring this week on SmackDown, teaming with Chelsea Green in a loss to Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair. This was Niven’s first match since February 5 following a broken hand suffered during training. Niven had hinted at returning to the ring in an interview earlier this week, saying she would be back in the ring sooner than later.

Opinion: This is always nice to see as you never want someone to be out of action for any amount of time. It was even more frustrating in Niven’s case as a broken hand suffered while training is the kind of injury that happens by pure chance and kept her out of the ring for two months anyway. It’s good to have her back though, as she is a different kind of wrestler than most in the company.
