Ever since the Women’s Revolution happened on “Raw” in 2015, female superstars have been taking WWE by storm and revolutionized the wrestling industry.

On January 28, 2018, they get to do it one more time.

Stephanie McMahon came out in the closing moments of this week’s episode of “Raw” and announced that for the first time in history, there will be a women’s “Royal Rumble” match at the upcoming pay-per-view of the same name.

One of the main reasons for this match was because of the presence of Absolution over the past few weeks. Ever since Paige made her return to the company, along with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, they have been running roughshod over the women’s division.

That changed on both last week’s and this week’s episode of “Raw,” when the rest of the division struck back:

The Raw Women’s division strikes back against Absolution: Raw, Dec. 11, 2017

We will provide more details on the match as they become available to us.

Editor’s Opinion:

All I can say is that it’s about damn time. The female superstars have been incredible over the past two and a half years, and there is more than enough talent on the roster to make this match incredible. This is going to be great, and I can’t wait for every minute of it!
