First Entrant Announced for 2018 Royal Rumble

One is the loneliest number. With less than six weeks to go before “Royal Rumble 2018”, it’s time to start putting together the thirty entrant lineup. We’ll be getting names in big bunches over the next few weeks, but you have to start somewhere. That was the case already this week.

Tonight on “Monday Night Raw”, Elias announced his entry into the 2018 Royal Rumble. Elias is the first of thirty entrants into the with the rest being named over the next several weeks. This will be Elias’ first appearance in a Royal Rumble after his main roster debut earlier this year.

Opinion: Elias is one of those guys who could benefit very strongly from a good run in the Rumble. Imagine him singing a song on the way to the ring, eliminating a few people, and grabbing his guitar again in an empty ring. Let him stay in there for a good while and see what he can come up with as a result. Of course he won’t be winning, but just getting there and being the first entrant is a start.
