Enzo Amore was injured during the tag team match to determine the No. 1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship and wheeled off in a stretcher by WWE medical personnel. The latest medical update is that Amore was responsive and moving his extremities, but was being taken to a local medical facility as a precaution and is undergoing testing.
The injury occurred when Amore, fighting The Vaudevillains alongside his partner Big Cass, looked to be sliding under the bottom rope. Instead, his face clipped the bottom rope, causing the back of his head to slam off the mat. The collision appeared to knock out Amore, who collapsed onto the floor just outside the ring.
