This year, WWE has been extremely active in signing new talent for WWE and NXT. It’s been a great way to deal with one of the worst injury plagues wrestling has ever seen, and it’s given a lot of talent the WWE spotlight.

It seems that WWE is at it once again. They’re about to sign a quality talent who fits their mold and not a ton of people are going to know.

According to DailyWrestlingNews.com, there are rumors swirling around that WWE is negotiating a contract with Indie star Kevin Kross.

If you’re not familiar, Kross works for many independent promotions, including Future Stars of Wrestling and Global Force Wrestling. Even more recently, Kross defeated Scorpio Sky in a dark match before the tapings for Lucha Underground.

Back in February 2015, Kross made a brief appearance alongside Darren Young during a segment on Monday Night Raw. He was beaten down along with young before Titus O’Neil came out to make the save and reform The Primetime Players.

Honestly, Kross is exactly the kind of physical specimen that WWE looks for in their talent, so it’s likely he could be given a deal eventually if WWE officials see true potential in him.
