You knew it was coming. Tensions between The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega and “Hangman” Adam Page of The Elite have been one of the focal stories of AEW programming over the past few weeks. However, the tension has now spoiled over into unreturnable places.

Tonight on Dynamite, the Young Bucks were in a tag team gauntlet match against Best Friends to determine who would be the new No. 1 contenders for the AEW tag team championships. They appeared to be on their way to their second win of the night, when Page would hold on to Nick Jackson’s leg, not allowing him to make the save for his brother, Matt. This would allow Chuck to get the pin and his team advance in the tournament.

Later in the show, the Bucks would find Page at the bar. They confronted him an after throwing a drink in his face, told Page that he was no longer a member of “The Elite”.

Editor’s Opinion:

I have been a big fan of Page for a long time and I’m so glad to finally see him getting away from The Elite. He and Omega need to drop the tag titles to FTR upcoming at “All Out” and finally have the rivalry that we all know is coming.
