They have to do something. We are less than ten days away from All Out and that means the card needs to set up. There are a few things already prepared but at the same time the show has a lot of spots still to go. Some of these are going to involve title matches and those are some of the most important matches on the card. One of the bigger ones was set up this week.

Since the company was founded, AEW has put a focus on tag team wrestling. It is something that a lot of promotions have tried to do over the years but few have actually made it work. That can make for some very exciting moments and AEW has produced its share of them. We might be in for another one with a pretty big pay per view title match next month.

During this week’s edition of Dynamite, FTR won a four team gauntlet match to become the new #1 contenders for the Tag Team Titles. The team will face Hangman Page/Kenny Omega for the titles at All Out on September 5. FTR defeated the Natural Nightmares, the Young Bucks and the Best Friends to earn the shot. This will be FTR’s first ever shot at the titles and their first meeting against the champions.

The champs could be in trouble. Check out their challengers in action:

Opinion: This was the only choice they had as FTR came into the promotion as a big deal and have since become one of the hottest teams on the show. Throw in their new alliance with Tully Blanchard and there is almost no reason to not make them #1 contenders. We’ve already seen Page/Omega vs. the Bucks so this is the smartest thing that they could have done.

What do you think of the match? Who leaves All Out with the titles? Let us know in the comments below.
