It’s back. Despite AEW not having the longest history, they have a lot of things that have become signatures for them. That can make for some important moments when these things come back and that seems to be the case again. AEW is going to be running one of their signature matches again at All Out and we already know a thing or two about who is involved.

There are some wrestling matches that anyone can understand in the blink of an eye. One of the easiest is to understand is the battle royal. As Scott Hall put it, you have everyone in the ring and the last one standing wins. How hard is that to understand? There have been variations on it before though and that is the case again with one of AEW’s signature matches.

During this week’s edition of Dynamite, the Casino Battle Royal was confirmed for All Out. The match will include twenty one entrants, with five wrestlers entering at a time, grouped together by suits of cards. The twenty first name will be the Joker and come in last, with the winner earning a future World Title shot. Several of the names were announced, including Butcher, Blade, Fenix, Pentagon, Eddie Kingston, Darby Allin, Ricky Starks, Brian Cage and Lance Archer.

The match is certainly different. Check out some of the promotion’s other battle royals:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that has become an AEW staple, though I’m not sure how much they need the Casino theme outside of Las Vegas. Still though, having a #1 contenders battle royal to set up a future title match on television is hardly a bad idea. This is the kind of thing that wrestling fans can get in a hurry and the idea of wondering who is in going to fill out the lineup, which is often a lot of fun.

What do you think of the match? Who do you want to see included? Let us know in the comments below.
