Cody Rhodes Was Not a Fan of This “Monday Night Raw” Segment

There’s nothing more important in the world than family.

Tonight on “Monday Night Raw,” a segment aired backstage where Bayley gave Goldust a little stuffed bear with a polka dot outfit; the same outfit worn by Goldust’s father, the late “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes. She said that she wouldn’t be where she was today if it wasn’t for the guidance and support that she received from him in NXT.

However, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows showed up, and after berating the Golden Truth, Anderson would rip the head off of the teddy bear.

Former WWE superstar Cody Rhodes, brother of Goldust, did not take kindly to this and posted the following response on his Twitter account, following the airing of the segment:

Cody Rhodes has not been with WWE since May 22 of this year.

Editor’s Note:

This is a difficult one for me. While I get that there are some lines that should not be crossed, WWE has produced much worse segments and pushed the boundaries of controversy way past this. However, I get that family is a sensitive issue.
