Cody Rhodes’ Bus Caught Fire Ahead of WrestleMania

It got a little hot. Cody Rhodes was a guest on the Pat McAfee Show this morning to promote his matches this weekend at WrestleMania 40. During the interview, he revealed that the bus that he was staying in caught on fire in middle of last night.

He tweeted about it and said the following:

Before you hear it elsewhere – my tour bus caught fire last night

Everybody is safe and okay

The 2 items I grabbed before I got off will probably pop wrestling fans

The items that he said he grabbed were a picture of his daughter, a picture of his wife, and his WrestleMania boots as he was exiting his bus in the middle of the night.

Rhodes will team with Seth Rollins on Saturday to take on Roman Reigns and The Rock before going one-on-one against Reigns for the undisputed Universal Championship on Sunday night.

This is a crazy story! We are all just glad that he is OK and is ready to go for the biggest weekend of his wrestling career. I can’t wait to see him finally finish his story and become the new Undisputed WWE Universal heavyweight champion!
