The one night of the year where Raw and Smackdown go head-to-head. Survivor Series has evolved over the years, with champions from both brands taking on each other in a series of matches for bragging rights on their respective shows. This year is no different, as WWE announced its Survivor Series championship matches tonight on Raw.
First, the United States Champion, Bobby Lashley, will take on Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn. These two have had many battles in the past, including a rivalry that took place in the summer of 2018.
Next, the Raw Tag Team Champions The New Day will take on the Street Profits, who are the Smackdown Tag Team Champions. The two teams exchanged titles following the recent WWE Draft, where each of them were sent to the other show.
Raw Women’s Champion Asuka will take on newly crowned Smackdown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks. The Boss won her championship from Bayley at Hell in a Cell 2020.
Finally, WWE Champion Randy Orton will take on the Universal Champion Roman Reigns. This match provides an interesting dynamic as Orton is having to deal with pressure from both Drew McIntyre and The Fiend, while Reigns will be dealing with the fallout from his encounter with his cousins, The Usos, at Hell in a Cell.

Holy cow, this card looks awesome. Obviously, Orton vs. Reigns is going to be a match of the year candidate, as both are firing on cylinders that haven’t been touched in a long time. But, everyone who is competing in these championship matches has exceptional talent and I cannot wait for this event already!
