We now know what’s up. Coming off the heels of the second annual “Double or Nothing” pay-per-view, AEW has begun the process of hyping their next event. “Fyter Fest” had been announced for later this summer, but the dates and format of the show were still a mystery.
That mystery was solved on tonight’s episode of Dynamite, as it was announced that “Fyter Fest” 2020 will be a two-night event, that will take place on Wednesday, July 1 and Wednesday, July 8. Both shows will be on TNT and will take the place of Dynamite for that week.
The main event of the show will feature Jon Moxley defending his AEW Championship against Brian Cage. Check out what happened between the two this week on Dynamite:
Editor’s Opinion:
I actually don’t mind this idea, as it will be an opportunity for the company to show what their top stars can do in the most high-profile matches to a broader audience. Everyone is doing their part to give people what they need during the COVID-19 pandemic, and a free pay-per-view event could be a great way to bring in some new viewers.
