The staff here at WrestlingRumors.net have assembled a list of winners for the first-ever “WR Year-End Awards,” covering all aspects of professional wrestling in the year 2014.

The seventh of these awards will go to the winner of WWE’s Most Shocking Moment of the Year:

Most Shocking Moment of the Year: Brock Lesnar Ends “The Streak” at WrestleMania XXX

This wasn’t only the most shocking moment of 2014, but maybe even the most shocking moment in the history of the company.

With Undertaker taking a 21-0 winning streak into his match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans, it was almost a given that “The Deadman” would walk away with the victory. After a series of classic matches with Shawn Michaels, Triple H and CM Punk, very few believed WWE would entertain the thought of giving “The Streak” to a part-timer like Lesnar.

Yet here we are. “The Streak” is over and Undertaker’s in-ring future is completely up in the air.
