Per a report by Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is going full steam ahead with a Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler match at WrestleMania 31 this year.

The two have exchanged messages on Twitter, trying to convince the company that this match needs to happen at the big event in March.

WWE was originally going to have Bryan face Sheamus one-on-one, but those plans have now been scrapped.

The reason management elected to go with Bryan vs. Ziggler instead is because the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion approached them and asked for the bout.

They ultimately accepted his proposal.

We could see the beginning of a program between the two take shape as early as “Monday Night Raw” on Feb. 2.

WWE.com has even begun teasing a potential match as well.

Editor’s Note

This match is going to steal the show. No doubt about it. Two of the most over faces in the company battling it out for twenty minutes? Should be a classic.
