During the latest edition of “Monday Night Raw,”  WWE revealed that former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan will be appearing on the Money in the Bank Kickoff. The pre-show to the “Money in the Bank” pay-per-view will begin at 7:30 p.m. EST. This time around the pre-show will not be a WWE Network exclusive. In addition to being shown on the WWE Network, it will be available on many other platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook.

A recent report by F4WOnline has shed some light as to why Bryan will be appearing on the Money in the Bank Kickoff. The website is reporting that WWE will be making a big push to get more people to order the pay-per-view, or even better, subscribe to the WWE Network.

The company feels that it can draw in a lot of non-buyers with Bryan’s appearance. During the time of Bryan’s appearance, the company will shoot an angle or utilize his time wisely in an effort to receive more pay-per-view buys or subscriptions to the WWE Network.

Because of Daniel Bryan’s inability to compete at “Money in the Bank,” eight men will duke it out in a ladder match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Bryan was stripped of his title on the June 9 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” If he were able to compete, he would have faced Kane in a Stretcher match.

Editor’s Note

Pretty obvious reasoning for Bryan’s appearance. WWE will likely close his appearance with some kind of babyface on top moment, like it does for most of its pre-shows.
