Following “Money in the Bank” on June 29, there will be just one more pay-per-view prior to WWE’s biggest summer event, “SummerSlam.” That pay-per-view is “Battleground,” and it will take place on July 20 in Tampa, Fla. at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

Local advertising for the event has already begun on the Tampa Bay Times Forum’s website. On the advertisement, two matches are listed: Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton.

Additionally, the website advertises many other WWE Superstars and Divas, listing the following under a section titled “Also Scheduled to Appear:”

“John Cena; Bray Wyatt; Demon Kane; Rob Van Dam; Sheamus; Cesaro; The Big Show; Alberto del Rio; Bad News Barrett; Kofi Kingston; the WWE Divas & more!”

The advertisement can be found here. You can also check out a screenshot of the advertisement below. (click to enlarge)

As always, the card is subject to change. However, these two matches will likely occur at “Battleground.” As previously reported, WWE already has plans for both Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, following Seth Rollins’ turn on The Shield. Reigns will feud with Randy Orton, leading to a match with Triple H at “SummerSlam.” On the other hand, Ambrose and Rollins are set to clash until “Summerslam.”

Editor’s Note

It will be interesting to see if the advertisement is edited any time soon. Even without the ad, these two matches should have already been expected to occur at “Battleground.”
