PWInsider.com originally reported that Sting may be appearing at WWE “Battleground” to begin a program that would lead him into “SummerSlam” in August, although that ultimately didn’t happen.
The plan now is for the Bray Wyatt versus Roman Reigns program to continue into next month’s pay-per-view, with Wyatt defeating Reigns (thanks to some assistance from Luke Harper) last night at “Battleground.”
The match in question would see a returning Sting team with Reigns to take on Wyatt and Harper in Brooklyn.
A six-man tag team match featuring Ambrose with Sting-Reigns and Erick Rowan with Wyatt-Harper was originally discussed, but those plans changed when Rowan was put on the shelf with a torn biceps.
WWE may add another member to The Wyatt Family in the coming weeks to make the six-man a reality, but that remains to be seen at this point.
Officials are also worried that Reigns will get booed out of the building in front of a New York crowd, with his reaction at “Battleground” being less than desirable.

I don’t care what the bout is. Just. Give. Me. Sting. Please.
