NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks, along with Becky Lynch and Charlotte, could be making their in-ring pay-per-view debuts for WWE at “Battleground” on Sunday.

The three ladies appeared during “Monday Night Raw” this past week in one of the biggest Divas segments in company history, with Lynch and Charlotte aligning themselves with Paige, while Banks joined forces with Naomi and Tamina Snuka to wage war on Team Bella.

PWInsider.com reports that the three “rookies” have been brought in to St. Louis for the pay-per-view.

Charlotte’s father, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, will also be in town.

WWE will certainly have some free space to fill after Intercontinental Champion Ryback was ruled ineligible to compete after getting a staph infection in his right knee. He was originally scheduled to defend his title against Big Show and The Miz in a Triple Threat match.

While it’s unknown whether the Divas match in question would feature a title defense, Nikki Bella, who currently holds the Divas Championship, is drawing closer to breaking AJ Lee’s record (295) for most days with the belt, currently standing at 238.

Editor’s Note

It would be nice to see the ladies compete at “Battleground,” however, I wouldn’t be opposed to WWE holding off until the big “SummerSlam” event. If they decide to book something, perhaps a Triple Threat Tag Team match featuring Paige/Charlotte/Becky vs. Sasha/Naomi/Tamina vs. Team Bella will suffice.
