The charismatic and ever-motivational Bo Dallas could be in store for a new gimmick, F4WOnline.com’s Bryan Alvarez reports. While there are no further details beyond this, WWE officials may be moving ahead with some sort of character change.
This was evident during Dallas’ recent appearance on “Smackdown,” defeating R-Truth one-on-one. A more aggressive style, a new finisher, and even a post-match attack on his opponent leads one to believe that Dallas is heading in a new direction effective immediately.
In a post-match backstage interview with Tom Phillips, Dallas indicated that he was sick of being a joke. “I Bo-Lieve that I’m going to be a lot more humorous in the future,” Dallas said in a serious tone.
Dallas, a former NXT Champion, has been used sparingly on WWE programming in recent months, with his most noticeable appearance coming the night after “SummerSlam” on “Raw,” getting beaten down by “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar.

Editor’s Note
I understand that Dallas’ character is rather goofy and is difficult to be booked as a legitimate threat to anyone on the roster, but it works for him. There are obviously issues with his physique, so keeping him with a silly tone can help rally fans around him.
