According to a report by F4WOnline.com, the reason behind the recent teaming of Summer Rae and Layla not only has a lot to do with a former WWE Diva tag team, but also a current stable working over at IMPACT Wrestling as well.
With Summer Rae and Layla, WWE is trying to make a newer and better version of LayCool, the former heel duo of Layla and Michelle McCool.
Both ladies turned on Fandango, their former love interest, on the July 11 episode of “Friday Night SmackDown.”
WWE is also running with the team because of The Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky) reforming in TNA.

I don’t understand the logic of WWE trying to play off booking decisions in TNA. Besides, Summer Rae/Layla need to form more chemistry before we start comparing them to LayCool anyways. What should their name be? Summer Lay?
