As made official on the April 14 edition of “Monday Night RAW,” John Cena will face Bray Wyatt in a Steel Cage match at “WWE Extreme Rules.”
Wyatt came out to cut an in-ring promo during the show, which was eventually interrupted by Cena. The 14-time World Champion posted fake pictures of Bray’s “family” on the titantron, using faces of The Wyatt Family to make a joke.
Bray called out Cena for underestimating his serious challenge, which resulted in the Steel Cage match be laid out. Cena wants to see what Wyatt can accomplish without the aid of Luke Harper and Erick Rowan.
Cena defeated Wyatt with the Attitude Adjustment at WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans.
“WWE Extreme Rules” will take place on May 4, live from the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ.
We previously reported here at WrestlingRumors.net that the Izod Center website was promoting a Cena vs. Wyatt “Extreme Rules” match for the event, but it appears that those plans have changed.
Editor’s Note
Early Prediction: I don’t see how Cena goes over Wyatt two special events in a row. The right man will emerge victorious at “Extreme Rules.” That man is Bray Wyatt.
