At a WWE live event in Hidalgo, TX on April 12, Jack Swagger became WWE Intercontinental Champion by defeating Big E, albeit with the help of Zeb Colter.

However, RAW general manager Brad Maddox came out shortly thereafter to restart the match.

Big E delivered the Big Ending to Swagger in the rematch, regaining his title.

This isn’t the first time the two competitors have fought over the Intercontinental Championship. Big E defeated Swagger at the “Elimination Chamber” pay-per-view on Feb. 24.

Editor’s Note

With the way things have been going as of late on WWE programming, a match between Swagger and Cesaro is all but confirmed for the upcoming “Extreme Rules” event on May 4. Swagger will need something to do when Cesaro moves on to bigger and better things, so perhaps we see a rehash of his feud with Big E take place.
