Hugo Knox, a former soccer goalkeeper and current NXT star, made his in-ring debut at a Live Event in Daytona on Nov. 8.

He teamed with Elias Samson and Steve Cutler in a losing effort to Angelo Dawkins, Chad Gable and Sawyer Fulton.

Kevin Steen, now known as Kevin Owens, had nothing but good things to say about Knox following the bout.

Before becoming a wrestler, Knox (real name: Stuart Tomlinson) was a goalie for both Burton Albion and Port Vale in Football League Two.

Editor’s Note

NXT continues to add exceptional talent to a roster that’s arguably as deep as WWE’s main roster pool. I’m looking forward to seeing Knox compete, and whether he has what it takes to break through.
