On the latest edition of “Monday Night Raw,” the Nov. 3 showing of the program, Vince McMahon made a rare appearance on WWE programming. Opening the show, Mr. McMahon revealed that if Team Authority were to lose against Team Cena in the “Survivor Series” main event, The Authority would no longer run WWE.

Since the stipulation was announced, there have been many rumors in all sorts of angles. First, speculation began that Stephanie McMahon was pregnant. Soon after that, there were reports that WWE would rehash a potential storyline from last year, in which Triple H would feud with Vince McMahon going towards WrestleMania. The feud had been planned for WrestleMania XXX, but it would be dropped, not coming to fruition.

Additionally, with it looking like The Authority will be out of power within a couple of weeks, fans have speculated on someone becoming “Raw” General Manager. One name that was thrown around by the WWE Universe, Mick Foley, would comment on potentially becoming “Raw” General Manager on his Facebook page.

Below is Foley’s post, in which he reveals he would be open to returning to WWE as an authority figure:

FOLEY FOR GM?

“When asked a few months ago on social media how I would feel about another run as a WWE General Manager, I said. ‘I don’t think I will be asked, and would turn down the offer if I was.’

Well, after my appearance on WWE Monday Night Raw a few weeks ago, I’ve kind of changed my tune. That appearance energized me, and made me feel like I just might have something to offer WWE on a more regular basis.

I think there is a chance I’ll be asked about becoming GM within the next year – and if asked… I think I’d do it.

How would you feel about another Foley GM run?”

Editor’s Note

I would love to see Foley back on WWE programming more regularly in order to take on an authority role.
