IWGP Intercontinental Championship: Hiroshi Tanahashi d. Jay White

Great opportunity for Jay White, here, and certainly a stark opposite of his days in Ring of Honor. Don Callis well-described his transition to the dark Switchblade gimmick, stating that this is what happens when you spend some time in the United States. Moreover, the video package did very well in displaying his quest to prove himself by going after the franchise player of NJPW and his Intercontinental Championship. White still has plenty of time to hone in this character, which is why keeping the title on Tanahashi is a good move for now.
