Two is better than one. We’re in a new year in all wrestling companies, including Impact Wrestling. You might not remember a lot about it as it’s not the most popular company in the world but there’s still good stuff going on around there and some of that stuff deserves some attention. One of those things is a title change and that happened twice in one episode.

This week’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” saw two title changes. Tonight, both the X-Division Title and Tag Team Titles changed hands. X-Division Champion Taiji Ishimori defeated Trevor Lee to become the new champion. Later in the night, LAX defeated OVE to win the Tag Team Titles.

Here’s how Ishimori became champion.

Ishimori NEW X-Division Champion! | #IMPACTICYMI Jan. 4th, 2018

Opinion: Both of these title changes make a lot of sense as both former champions were rapidly running out of steam. The X-Division needed some fresh blood and LAX has been the much hotter act in recent weeks. Both division needs some new names and changing the titles around could help things out quite a bit.

Which of these title changes is better? Who will take the titles from the new champions? Let us know in the comments below.
