NEVER Openweight Championship/Hair vs. Hair: Hirooki Goto d. Minoru Suzuki (title change)

There are two things you can depend on with these competitors: 1) for Goto to put on a very solid performance at Wrestle Kingdom, 2) Suzuki to beat the daylights out of someone every time he steps in the ring. The shoot-style Pancrease display of Suzuki makes him a legitimate threat to anyone at any time, and the NEVER Openweight Championship was a perfect title for him to have at this stage of his career. It was great to see Goto regain the title, as he won it last year as well at WK 11 by defeating Katsuyori Shibata.

STAR RATING: ***(1/2)
