Singles Match: Kota Ibushi d. Cody

Cody played a very good heel here, and Brandy positively added a layer to his deviant persona. Kota Ibushi played well with this, since he is a loveable babyface. This match was originally supposed to be for the Ring of Honor World Championship, so it makes me wonder if the result changed due to Cody not having the title anymore, or if Ibushi would have won the title if Dalton Castle did not. I still think it would have added more intrigue if Castle would have defended the title in a triple threat match.

STAR RATING: ***(1/2)
