WWE Continues to Pursue UFC Champ Ronda Rousey

According to MMA News, UFC Champion and megastar Ronda Rousey is an unlikely candidate for Wrestlemania  32, but WWE continues to pursue piggybacking off her prestige.

The site reports that WWE will attempt to book Rousey for “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s podcast. While there was talk of Rousey engaging in an angle at this Sunday’s “Hell in a Cell” PPV, MMA News said that it is highly unlikely.

Editor’s Note: While seeing Rousey in an angle with Stephanie McMahon build towards Wrestlemania 32, no part of me could suspend disbelief that McMahon ever had a shot. Ronda Rousey could like take on and defeat and wrestler on the roster. Follow Bill Kline on Twitter @RealBillKline or on Facebook.
