WWE Given Permission to Induct Randy Savage Into Hall of Fame

“Leaping” Lanny Poffo, the younger brother of the late “Macho Man” Randy Savage, has made it known in the past that Savage wanted to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame along with his brother and their father, Angelo Poffo. If these conditions weren’t met, Poffo did not want his late brother to be inducted. However, this may have changed as Poffo recently spoke to PWTorch about Randy Savage being inducted.

Poffo told the following to PWTorch regarding a possible Randy Savage WWE Hall of Fame induction:

“I gave them (WWE) permission to do it without my permission. Just don’t invite me and don’t pay me. I don’t need their 30 pieces of silver to defy my brother’s wishes. Kayfabe Commentaries had my best interview regarding the reasons Randy had for this position.”

Time will tell if WWE will pull the trigger on inducting “The Macho Man,” even though it would likely not be along with his family. Although Lanny Poffo has given WWE permission to induct his brother, it appears that he still holds enmity towards the company.
