As we previously reported, The American Wolves Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards were asked to take part in the latest WWE Tryout Camp, which took place the weekend of August 28th at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL. Apparently, the two men were the standouts of the camp, impressing the judges and coaches greatly.

The Wrestling Observer is claiming that Edwards was the most impressive, at least during the first day. The impression is that Richards and Edwards have a very good shot at being signed by WWE, but it has not yet been made official and could take months before anyone signs on any dotted lines.

There were thirty wrestlers in all competing in the tryout/training camp. The list of talent included Joey Ryan, Tony DelFonzo, Sean Burke and Todd Hanson. Overall, the attitudes of most and the work ethic were said to be good. The ones that worked this camp and actually get signed won’t likely report to work until January, and that’s if they can pass all medical exams then.

The coaches/judges over the weekend were WWE trainers and scouts Norman Smiley, Joey Mercury, Terry Taylor, William Regal, Gerald Brisco, Bill DeMott, and Jim Ross.
