As we previously reported, WWE superstar Mark Henry suffered a hamstring injury at a WWE Live Event at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. There have also been rumblings that at the upcoming Night of Champions pay-per-view, The Prime Time Players may replace Big Show and Mark Henry as the team that challenges for The Shield’s WWE Tag Team Championships. However, if this replacement occurs, it will not be because of Mark Henry’s injury status.

According to F4WOnline, despite his current hamstring injury, “The World’s Strongest Man” has been cleared to return to in-ring action. The website is reporting that Henry underwent an MRI after suffering the injury and was then cleared then after. Time will tell if Mark Henry makes his return on the next edition of Monday Night Raw, which will be the “go-home” show before the Night of Champions pay-per-view on September 15, in Detroit, Michigan.
