On Tuesday, Oct. 21, WWE will tape the final edition of “Smackdown” prior to the 2014 “Hell in a Cell” pay-per-view. The event will take place in Wichita, Kan., at the InTrust Bank Center. It will likely serve as the fourth “Smackdown” to air on Thursday in 2014. As previously noted, SyFy has “Smackdown” scheduled for Thursdays, starting on Oct. 2.
On the website of the InTrust Bank Center, an intriguing name is advertised to appear. Current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar is scheduled to “bring the pain” to Kansas, as “Smackdown” comes to Wichita for the first time in more than a year.
Below is video of the advertisement:

The advertisement is surprising, to say the least. Besides working “Night of Champions” and the “go-home” showing of “Monday Night Raw” for the pay-per-view, no more dates have been officially announced for Lesnar. With it coming on the last showing of WWE programming before the October pay-per-view, “Hell in a Cell,” many believe it is a sign that Lesnar will work the event. If he does work the event, these same people believe he will remain the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at “Night of Champions.”
Editor’s Note
Wow. Definitely looks like Lesnar is remaining the champion, and working “Hell in a Cell.” This should help boost “Smackdown” ratings for Thursdays.
