More details surrounding Jake “The Snake” Roberts’ hospitalization have come to light. The WWE Hall of Famer, who as previously reported is currently hospitalized with double pneumonia and a mass on his brain, was flying to Las Vegas to be a part of the Freak Show Wrestling show on Aug. 29. Sinn Bodhi of Freak Show Wrestling is now at Roberts’ bedside and is tweeting about Roberts’ condition.

Bodhi writes,

As reported earlier, Roberts passed out on the flight to Las Vegas and was unconscious for some time. Roberts’ friend Diamond Dallas Page claims that “The Snake” is now conscious, but is slipping in and out a bit.

TMZ has also picked up on the story, adding more details. The website noted that it spoke with Bodhi, who revealed that Roberts made a trip to the doctor two weeks ago. He was simply told that he had the flu, and needed to rest for the time being. Because of the prognosis, no one thought it was that big of a deal, despite Roberts still having pain since that visit.

TMZ also reports that Roberts is in the ICU, and his immune system is not in the best of shape. Doctors will let Roberts rest for a couple of days, while more tests are performed.

WrestlingRumors.net will keep you updated as more information regarding Roberts’ status is made known. Our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his friends and family.
