On Tuesday, April 8, WWE taped the April 11 edition of “WWE Smackdown” in Lafayette, La.

Below are the spoilers for the April 11 edition of “WWE Smackdown:”

The show opens with none other than John Cena. He talks about WrestleMania XXX and how it is a very good time to be in WWE. Continuing, he talks about how the future is now, and that he himself is the measuring stick in this business. The Wyatt Family then interrupt, appearing on the titantron. Bray Wyatt says he can’t feel any pain and asks, if he did indeed lose, “why am I still smiling?” Continuing, Bray says this will get “extreme,” a telling sign for the future of this storyline. Additionally, he tells Cena that this is only the beginning.

1) Cesaro w/ Paul Heyman def. Big Show via disqualification- Before the match, Heyman comes out to cut a promo, in which he declares himself the greatest manager of all-time. He then introduces the newest “Paul Heyman Guy,” Cesaro. Cesaro comes out but with no music. The match starts off at a slow pace, as Heyman joins the commentary team. Throughout the match, Cesaro uses heel tactics such as thumbs to the eyes and leaving the ring to regroup with his manager. At the end of the match, Cesaro went for the “Cesaro Swing,” but Jack Swagger came out to attack his former tag-team partner. He locked in the “Patriot Lock” on Cesaro, causing a disqualification. Big Show then threw Swagger out of the ring, leading to Cesaro attacking Show. Cesaro then slowly lifted Show, delivering a “Neutralizer” to the giant.

2) Ryback and Curtis Axel def. Los Matadores w/ El Torito- This was a relatively quick match in which Los Matadores were taken care of easily.

3) Rob Van Dam def. Damien Sandow- In this “Monday Night Raw” rematch, Van Dam once again won. Before the match, “RVD” cut a babyface promo as the WWE Universe welcomed him back.

Next, the “Immortal” Hulk Hogan comes out to talk about WrestleMania XXX. The special guest host for the event then brought out Daniel Bryan, who came out to yet another massive pop. Bryan talked about his historic night in addition to his upcoming wedding later this week to his fiancee Brie Bella. Closing, Bryan says he is a big Hulkamaniac and wants to hear Hogan’s Real American theme. Real American plays as Hogan and Bryan celebrate in the ring to end the segment.

4) Bad News Barrett def. Kofi Kingston

5) Fandango w/ Layla def. Santino Marella w/ Emma- Fandango has officially dumped Summer Rae, as Layla is now with him. During the match, Layla taunted Emma from ringside.

6) Daniel Bryan and The Usos vs. Kane, Batista, and Randy Orton ends in a double count-out- Bryan’s hot-tag during the match got the biggest pop of the night. All six members brawled to the outside, causing the count-out. Kane, Orton, and Batista were getting the upper-hand, until The Shield came out to make the save. Orton and Batista escaped, while Kane was hit by Bryan’s “Knee Plus.” The show ended with the babyfaces celebrating to “Yes” chants.
