Nikki Bella Smackdown Promo Heavily Edited

On the Nov. 28 edition of “Smackdown,” Divas Champion Nikki Bella easily handled Emma in singles action. As noted in our spoilers for the event, Nikki cut a well-received, babyface type of promo prior to the match. Nikki talked about how she had gotten back to the point in which she is Divas Champion, and received applause from the Fort Wayne, Indiana crowd.

However, much of that promo would not be seen by viewers during the airing of “Smackdown” on Friday, Nov. 28. The promo was heavily edited in order to make Nikki Bella seem more like a heel, rather than a babyface. Parts of her promo that were included saw Nikki target AJ Lee for her continued “sob stories,” by saying she actually works harder than AJ. In addition to that, WWE left in a part in which Nikki referred to AJ as “that pathetic manipulative little girl from New Jersey.”

I can see why WWE would edit the promo, but Nikki Bella and John Cena understandably weren’t shy in addressing it.
