As we previously reported, a possible spoiler may have been seen by the soldiers in attendance at WWE’s “Tribute to The Troops.” This year’s edition of “Tribute to The Troops” will air on NBC on December 28, about two weeks after the TLC pay-per-view.
In an update to our previous report, according to Wrestling Observer, the creative team’s plans for the finish of the Randy Orton vs. John Cena match have been set in stone for over a week. Along with that, no one in the company has changed their minds over the outcome during that span.
Although not much is known over the finish, if a new Unified Champion were crowned at the event, it would be the second time that WWE has crowned some sort of undisputed champion in December. In December of 2001, Chris Jericho defeated both “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and The Rock on the same night to become the first Undisputed WWE Champion that the company had seen in over 50 years.
